Terms & Conditions

Effective date: August 3, 2026

These Terms & Conditions, referred to as the “Terms,” govern your access to and use of apostleiad.com and your purchase or use of products and resources provided by Apostle Interior Architecture & Design.

“Apostle,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Apostle Interior Architecture & Design. “You” and “your” refer to the person or entity accessing the website or purchasing a product.

By using the website, creating an account, submitting information, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms.

Do not use the website or purchase a product if you do not agree to these Terms.

1. Website purpose

The website presents:

  • Apostle’s interior architecture and design work

  • Information about the studio and its services

  • Editorial content published through The Foyer

  • Educational and operational resources offered through The Workshop

  • Curated products or affiliate recommendations through The Edit

  • Digital products available for purchase

  • Project-enquiry and contact forms

Use of the website does not create a designer-client, architect-client, consultant-client, fiduciary, employment, partnership, or other professional relationship.

A professional design relationship is created only through a separate written agreement signed by Apostle and the client.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make a purchase or create an account.

When purchasing on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Informational and educational content

Website articles, guides, templates, worksheets, scorecards, downloads, and other resources are provided for general informational and educational purposes.

They do not constitute:

  • Architectural services

  • Engineering services

  • Legal advice

  • Tax or accounting advice

  • Financial advice

  • Building-code review

  • Permit approval

  • Accessibility certification

  • Licensing advice

  • Project-specific professional advice

You remain responsible for determining whether any information, template, method, or product is appropriate for your project, business, jurisdiction, contract, professional role, and level of qualification.

Consult appropriately licensed or qualified professionals when a matter requires project-specific, legal, structural, engineering, code, financial, or regulatory advice.

4. Digital products

Digital products may include:

  • Templates

  • Forms

  • Checklists

  • Worksheets

  • Guides

  • Presentation files

  • Project-management resources

  • Studio systems

  • Educational materials

  • Other downloadable or electronically delivered content

Product descriptions identify the materials included, file formats, intended purpose, and known software requirements.

You are responsible for reviewing that information before purchasing.

5. Product license

Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership of the product or Apostle’s intellectual property.

Your purchase grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product according to these Terms and any additional license displayed on the product page.

Unless a product page provides a different license, the standard license permits:

  • Use by one purchaser

  • Use within one business or studio controlled by that purchaser

  • Reasonable customization for the purchaser’s internal business operations

  • Use of completed or customized outputs in the purchaser’s work with their own clients

  • Access by employees or contractors working solely for that same business, provided they comply with these Terms

The standard license does not permit you to:

  • Resell the product or any editable source file

  • Redistribute, sublicense, lend, rent, or give the product to another person or business

  • Share the product through a public or multi-business shared drive

  • Upload the product to a template marketplace, membership library, document repository, or file-sharing platform

  • Repackage the product as your own template, course, guide, resource, or digital product

  • Create a competing commercial product substantially derived from the purchased material

  • Claim authorship of Apostle’s original product

  • Remove copyright, trademark, licensing, or ownership notices

  • Use the product to train, fine-tune, populate, or create a dataset for an artificial-intelligence system

  • Use the product for any unlawful, misleading, or infringing purpose

Client-facing outputs may be delivered to your clients as part of your professional service. Editable Apostle source files may not be transferred to the client unless the product description expressly permits that use.

Additional-user, team, enterprise, educational, or resale licenses require written permission from Apostle.

6. Intellectual property

The website and its content—including copy, graphics, photography, renderings, drawings, layouts, templates, digital products, branding, logos, and design elements—are owned by Apostle or used under license.

They are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited license expressly granted for a purchased product, no content may be copied, reproduced, modified, published, distributed, sold, publicly displayed, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

“Apostle,” “Apostle IAD,” “The Foyer,” “The Workshop,” and associated marks, graphics, and branding may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement without written permission.

7. Purchases and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current purchase and billing information.

Payments are processed by [INSERT PAYMENT PROCESSOR]. Your use of that payment service may also be subject to the processor’s terms and privacy policy.

Applicable taxes may be calculated and charged at checkout.

Apostle may refuse, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including when:

  • Payment cannot be authorized

  • Fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected

  • A price or product listing contains an obvious error

  • The order violates these Terms

  • A product is unavailable due to a technical or legal issue

When Apostle cancels a paid order before the product is delivered, the applicable payment will be refunded.

8. Digital delivery

Digital products are generally delivered through:

  • An on-screen download

  • An emailed download link

  • A customer account

  • A third-party delivery platform

  • Another method described on the product page

You are responsible for:

  • Providing an accurate email address

  • Checking spam and filtered-email folders

  • Downloading and securely storing your files

  • Maintaining compatible software

  • Keeping account and download credentials secure

Contact hello@apostleiad.com when a purchase confirmation or access link is not received.

9. Returns and refunds

Because digital products are delivered electronically and may be accessed immediately, all sales are final once access is provided.

Purchases are governed by Apostle’s Digital Product Return & Refund Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Nothing in these Terms limits a remedy that cannot legally be waived.

10. Product updates and availability

Apostle may revise, correct, improve, discontinue, or replace digital products.

A purchase does not guarantee:

  • Lifetime updates

  • Future editions

  • New file formats

  • Compatibility with future software versions

  • Continuing access through a particular platform

  • Individual technical support beyond what is stated on the product page

When a product includes updates or ongoing access, the applicable product page will describe the scope and duration.

11. No guarantee of results

Apostle does not guarantee that use of the website, a digital product, a scorecard, or an educational resource will produce a particular:

  • Business result

  • Financial result

  • Client outcome

  • Project approval

  • Permit

  • Contract

  • Professional qualification

  • Employment opportunity

  • Increase in revenue

  • Reduction in liability

Your results depend on circumstances outside Apostle’s control, including your judgment, implementation, experience, market, clients, contracts, jurisdiction, professional qualifications, and use of the material.

12. User submissions

When you submit an enquiry, comment, testimonial, survey response, image, document, or other material, you represent that:

  • You have the right to provide it

  • It does not violate another person’s rights

  • It is not knowingly false, unlawful, defamatory, or malicious

  • It does not contain harmful code or unauthorized confidential information

You retain ownership of your original submissions.

You grant Apostle permission to use a submission only as reasonably necessary to respond, provide the requested service, operate the website, fulfill a purchase, or perform another purpose disclosed when the information is submitted.

Apostle will not publish a client project, testimonial, name, or identifying project information for promotional purposes without the permission required by the applicable agreement or law.

13. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

Notify Apostle promptly if you believe an account or download link has been accessed without authorization.

Apostle may suspend or terminate access when it reasonably believes an account:

  • Has been compromised

  • Is being shared beyond the permitted license

  • Is being used fraudulently

  • Violates these Terms

  • Creates a security or legal risk

14. Third-party links and services

The website may contain links to third-party products, websites, manufacturers, retailers, platforms, or services.

Apostle does not control and is not responsible for:

  • Third-party content

  • Product availability

  • Pricing

  • Shipping

  • Returns

  • Data practices

  • Accuracy

  • Performance

  • Terms

  • Security

A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or guarantee.

Review the third party’s terms, policies, specifications, and purchase information before proceeding.

15. Affiliate relationships

Some links published through The Foyer, The Edit, social media, or other Apostle content may be affiliate links.

Apostle may receive a commission or other benefit when you purchase through an affiliate link, at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not change the price charged by the retailer unless explicitly stated. Product availability, pricing, fulfillment, returns, warranties, and customer service remain subject to the retailer’s policies.

Material affiliate relationships should also be disclosed close to the applicable recommendation, not solely in these Terms.

16. Prohibited website use

You may not use the website to:

  • Violate a law or regulation

  • Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights

  • Submit false or misleading information

  • Interfere with website security or operation

  • Introduce viruses or malicious code

  • Scrape, harvest, mine, or extract content or user information without permission

  • Circumvent access restrictions

  • Attempt unauthorized access to an account, file, or system

  • Impersonate Apostle or another person

  • Use automated systems to copy, reproduce, or train on website content

  • Use the website or products in a way that harms Apostle or another person

17. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, its content, and digital products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Apostle does not warrant that:

  • The website will always be available or error-free

  • Every file will be compatible with every device or software version

  • Content will be complete or suitable for every purpose

  • Defects will always be corrected immediately

  • Use of a product will produce a particular outcome

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent legally permitted.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apostle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

  • Use of or inability to use the website

  • Use or misuse of a digital product

  • Loss of files, data, revenue, opportunity, business, or goodwill

  • Reliance on educational or informational content

  • Third-party products, websites, or services

  • Unauthorized account or file access

  • Software incompatibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apostle’s total liability relating to a digital product will not exceed the amount you paid Apostle for the product giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Apostle harmless from claims, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your unlawful use of the website

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of another person’s rights

  • Your unauthorized redistribution or commercial exploitation of a product

  • Material you submit through the website

This provision does not require you to indemnify Apostle for conduct for which indemnification cannot legally be required.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes relating to these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [INSERT COUNTY], California, and the parties consent to those courts’ jurisdiction.

BEFORE PUBLICATION: Review this section with a California attorney, particularly before adding arbitration, a class-action waiver, or attorney-fee provisions.

21. Termination

Apostle may restrict or terminate access to the website, an account, or a product when a user materially violates these Terms, misuses Apostle’s intellectual property, creates a security risk, or engages in unlawful activity.

Sections concerning ownership, licensing restrictions, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and dispute terms survive termination where applicable.

22. Changes to these Terms

Apostle may update these Terms to reflect changes to the website, products, business practices, or applicable law.

The revised Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after the revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

Terms applicable to a completed purchase will not be changed retroactively in a way that unlawfully removes rights already granted to the purchaser.

23. Severability and waiver

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Apostle’s failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

24. Entire agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Digital Product Return & Refund Policy, the applicable product description, and any product-specific license constitute the agreement governing website use and digital-product purchases.

A separate signed design-services agreement governs commissioned interior architecture or design services and controls if it conflicts with these website Terms regarding that engagement.
