PROJECT: Echo Boutique Hotel (Concept Development)
LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands
AREA: 12,000 SF
YEAR: 2025

A second home for extended-stay travelers. Private suites support work and domestic ritual; public rooms pull guests back into the city through food, art, gathering and retreat. Amsterdam is a city of accumulated eras. Echo translates that condition into an interior language: old against new, weight against transparency, intimacy against the metropolitan scale of Zuidas.

Stone, shadow and tactile surfaces anchor the rooms. Glass, metal, light and contemporary art introduce the present. The original design intent explicitly called for balancing Amsterdam's medieval character with the speed and materiality of the financial district, while using art, layered lighting, work/lounge zones and suite planning to support productivity and restoration.
