Founded in Los Angeles on a stubborn idea: the coast deserved rooms with gravity. Not the expected light and airy. The carved, the shadowed, the monumental. Spaces that feel like belief made physical.
The name means devotion, because devotion is the method—to a material, to a detail, to a doctrine of restraint.

Apostle is led by Adriana Bakhoum, whose practice joins interior architecture with experience strategy, research, and systems thinking. The room is considered as both composition and lived sequence: how people arrive, move, decide, gather, recover, and return.
That second lens changes the work. Planning is clearer. Operations are not an afterthought. Accessibility, maintenance, and material performance enter the conversation early—before atmosphere becomes expensive to correct.
The practice
Apostle works across private residences, hospitality, and selected objects. Each commission begins with context, not a style package. We read the existing conditions, define what the room must do, and build a direction through plan, proportion, light, and material.
